Give the game of Disc Golf a shot at either the Lake Parker Park or Holloway Park course, OR you can practice your throws at our 4-basket practice field at Publix Charities Park. Find out more info about each course below.

The Game of Disc Golf

The object of the game is to play each hole in the fewest number of throws (stokes) possible. The player with the lowest total strokes for the course is the winner.

• Each hole begins at the tee pad.
• Subsequent throws are made from the place where the disc comes to rest.
• The player who is the furthest from the basket (or pin) throws first. 
• The hole is completed when the disc is caught by the basket or chains.
• Tee odd order is determined by players' scores on the previous hole. Best score tees off first.
• Remain quiet and avoid unnecessary movements while others are throwing. 
• Allow faster groups to play through when possible. 
• Help new players learn the rules.

• Rules & Safety for Disc Golf

  Our Disc Golf courses are in high use/joint user parks. There will be walkers, bicyclists, children, etc. 

  • Be aware of your surroundings and environment.
  • Please respect park users at all times.
  • Look before throwing across pathways. 
  • Always give park users the right of way.
  • Keep the park clean, take out what you bring in.
  • Do not alter the course (trees, bushes, etc.) in any way.
  • Alcohol is NOT permitted.
