Express Permitting

The Community & Economic Development Department is committed to providing residents with an exceptional quality of life and outstanding customer service. While the volume of permit applications has increased, we want to ensure our commitment to excellence by introducing Express Permitting, which aims to review specific permit applications in a 30-minute window during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

Express Permitting applies to permits categorized as:

Demolition
Residential/Commercial roofing including shingle, TPO, and modified bitumen only.
Residential Electrical
Residential Mechanical
Residential Plumbing including irrigation
Sewer Cap
Window & Door Replacement (size for size)

Permit applications for mobile home, addresses with Historic districts, or permits using a Private Provider are not eligible for Express Permitting.
