LAKELAND, FL (July 22, 2020) | The Lakeland Mayor's Council on the Arts is now accepting grants applications to assist in funding for art and cultural related organizations. The application process is open to non-profit members of the Lakeland arts community with the Lakeland city limits. For-profit organizations and educational institutions are not eligible for the program.  The application deadline is August 19^th at 4:30 p.m.

LAKELAND, FL (July 17, 2020) | The City of Lakeland anticipates applying for Rebuild Florida General Planning Support (GSP) funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address mitigation needs to ensure that the state of Florida is more resilient to future natural disasters. This program is being administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) through the Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Program. A total of $20,000,000 in funding has been allocated by DEO for the General Planning Support Program.
