Library Holiday Hours
All three Lakeland Library locations will CLOSE early at 5 PM on Tuesday, December 31st and remain closed Wednesday, January 1st for the New Year holiday.
We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd at 9 AM.

Crafty Creations
Join us on Wednesday, January 8th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm in the Lakeland History Room at Lakeland Public Library to learn how to create a felt quilt banner using only scissors and glue—no sewing skills needed! All supplies will be provided.
This event is for ages 18+. Registration is required and opens at 5 PM on Thursday, January 2nd.

Microsoft Office for Beginners Class at Jackson Branch
New to Microsoft Office suite software? Want to learn about the different programs of Microsoft Office? Join us on Tuesday, December 31st from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Larry R. Jackson Branch Library for a brief introduction to the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Learn what these programs are for and the basics of how to use them.
Registration is required and opens on Monday, December 23rd at 10:30 AM.

Preschool Storytimes at Lakeland Libraries
All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.
