Youth Services Story

Our Youth Services Areas provide access to traditional resources, creativity stations, computers and dynamic programming for a variety of ages and needs.

  Preschool Storytimes

  All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.

  Our Visit to the Library

  This Visual Support Story uses photographs and simple sentences to help children feel comfortable visiting the Main Library allowing them to prepare and understand what to expect during their library visit.
