Book Pumpkin Contest 2025

Turn your favorite book into a pumpkin!

The book pumpkin decorating contest is back at the Lakeland Public Library!

Contest Details:

Decorate a plastic pumpkin inspired by your favorite book or book character. (Use craft pumpkins only!)
Bring your decorated pumpkin to the Youth Services Desk at the Lakeland Public Library
Vote for best pumpkin online on our website (voting begins October 25th).
Must be 17 and under to enter.

Submit entries October 1 - October 24.

Vote for best pumpkin October 25 - October 30.

Three winners will be chosen on Halloween!
