The Lakeland Police Department coordinates Business Watch programs throughout the community. By forming a Business Watch program in your area, you are increasing awareness of potential crime problems and also providing prevention for you and your neighboring businesses.
Business Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists merchants and business owners in cooperation with the Lakeland Police Department. Crime prevention and awareness training for merchants and their employees will assist in the recognition of current crime trends. By increasing awareness of the various ways businesses are victimized and teaching prevention methods, business losses can be minimized.
