Bill Read
Commissioner (2024-2027) | District: B Northeast
Bill is the sole owner of Harper-Read Realty Group Inc. working primarily in the raw land arena. He also works part time at Streamsong as a Range Safety Officer, Sporting Clays Shooting Instructor, and Fishing Guide. He a graduate of Leadership Lakeland X and has been affiliated with several professional and civic organizations. He serves on the City of Lakeland’s Legislative, Community Development, and Utility Committees. He is also a member of the county-wide Transportation Planning Organization.
Bill is a graduate of Lakeland Senior High School, Polk Community College, and the University of Central Florida. He is married to Raydene Read and they have two children, Erika and Veronica.
