Ashley C. Troutman
Commissioner (2026–2029) | District C Southwest
With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ashley Troutman is the Founder and Principal of Guided Financial Planning. He works closely with successful individuals and business owners who are retired or approaching retirement, guiding them through comprehensive financial planning and wealth management strategies.Committed to professional excellence and lifelong learning, Ashley holds respected industry designations, including Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He has served as a business owner in his field since 2012.
A lifelong resident of Lakeland, Ashley attended Polk County Public Schools and is a graduate of George Jenkins High School. He earned his Associate in Arts degree from Polk State College and his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida. In addition to his professional work, Ashley is a public speaker and published poet, with contributions featured in two books by Brown Bear Publishing.
Deeply committed to community service, Ashley is a member of Leadership Lakeland Class 27 and Leadership Polk Class 12. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Lighthouse Ministries and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Polk State College.
He is also actively involved in his church and various local initiatives. Ashley resides in Lakeland with his wife, Kia, and their two sons. Kia is the owner of Herbal Hospitality Tea Room and Spa.
