The Lakeland Fire Department makes great efforts to be an active part of its community by allowing citizens to learn more about the department, what it does, and the men and women who do it through fun and educational non-emergency interactions.

The department understands the important role of fire safety education in reducing risk and loss of life in the City of Lakeland. We offer fire prevention programs delivered to schools and educational organizations in the Lakeland area. The department also offers learning programs for adults.
