Holiday Hours & Closings

City offices will be closed on the following dates:

• Lakeland Electric

  Lakeland Electric will be closed for all City Holidays (listed above).

  During this time, customers may access their utility account(s) by telephone (863.834.9535) 7 days a week / 24 hours a day with no wait time to retrieve account balance and due date, make a payment, update your telephone number and request a payment extension if one is needed.

  If you are registered online, you can use E-bill (paperless billing). This includes bill pay, bill summary, transaction history and consumption history. When enrolling you can create a personal login, allowing you free in-depth account management 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Enroll in Lakeland Electric's free paperless billing at ebill.lakelandelectric.com.

   Outages & Emergencies

  If you experience an outage 11/28 - 12/1 in your zone or you want to report a power outage or electrical emergency such as a downed power line, please call Lakeland Electric's dedicated toll-free automated system at 863.834.4248.

• Lakeland Public Libraries

  All Lakeland Public Libraries will be closed for all City Holidays (listed above).

  Martin Luther King Jr. Day

  All three Lakeland Library locations will be closed Monday, January 16th, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

  We will reopen Tuesday, January 17th at 9 AM.
• Parks & Recreation

  All Recreation Centers, Offices, Gandy Pool, and Libraries will be closed for all City Holidays (listed above).

  CLOSED: All Recreation Facilities, Libraries, Offices, and Gandy Pool will be closed for the Holiday.

  OPEN: All Parks*, green spaces and the Cleveland Heights Golf Course will be open during regular operational hours.

  *Hollis Garden is closed on Mondays.

  ***Non-gated parks will be accessible throughout the holiday season. Restrooms and trash cans will not be refreshed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We appreciate the public's assistance in keeping our public spaces clean and safe.***

  Gated Parks Include: Common Ground Playground, Lake Parker Park, Lake Crago Park, Peterson Park, Douglas Cook Park, Fletcher Park at Lake Bonny, Hollis Garden, Barnett Family Park, and John McGee Park.

• Solid Waste Collection
