Fatal Crash Investigation - 3400 East Lake Parker Drive
FATAL SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH
LAKELAND, FL (March 13, 2025) - On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at approximately 10:35 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a black Lexus sedan in the 3400 block of East Lake Parker Drive. Based on evidence gathered at the scene, prior to the crash, the Lexus was traveling southbound on East Lake Parker Drive and for unknown reasons traveled west off the roadway, came back onto the roadway and crossed the center line, then left the roadway on east side. The vehicle continued through a chain link fence, then impacted a tree.
The Lakeland Police Department Patrol Units, Polk County Fire Rescue, and the Lakeland Fire Department arrived on the scene to attempt life-saving measures, however, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. The roadway was shut down for approximately two hours while the scene was processed for the ongoing investigation.
