IRMA Exemption

By publicly posting the following written disclosure, the City of Lakeland intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC municipal advisor rule.

The City of Lakeland, Florida has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. The City of Lakeland, Florida is represented by and will rely upon its municipal advisor PFM Financial Advisors LLC to provide advice in evaluating recommendations or advice from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities and municipal financial products as such terms are defined in the SEC’s Municipal Advisor Rule. 

The personnel of our municipal advisor who will advise us on such matters (Julie Santamaria) have not been associated with another broker dealer firm other than PFM Financial Advisors LLC, within the two years prior to the date of this certificate. This certificate may be relied upon until posted otherwise.
