The City uses a Code Enforcement Board made up of seven (7) regular members and up to two (2) alternates, each appointed by the City Commission, to consider continued and repeat violations of the City's codes and ordinances. In addition to the full Code Enforcement Board, the City utilizes a Code Enforcement Board Hearing Officer, also appointed by the City Commission, who typically considers first time violations, makes findings, and issues orders consistent with those findings.
