Public Notice: Sewer Repair taking Place At Lake Hollingsworth Drive And Fairmont Avenue
LAKELAND, FL (August 7, 2025) | The City of Lakeland Wastewater Collection Division will be performing an essential repair to replace a damaged sewer service line at the intersection of Lake Hollingsworth Drive and Fairmont Avenue. Bypass pumps have already been installed to maintain sewer service until the repair work begins.
The repair is scheduled to start early in the morning on Friday, August 8, 2025.
As part of the work:
- Eastbound traffic on Lake Hollingsworth Drive will shift at Beacon Road for approximately 250 feet.
- The intersection of Fairmont Avenue and Lake Hollingsworth Drive will be temporarily closed for the duration of the repair. The intersection could be closed for two days for this critical sewer line repair.
