Public Notice: Sewer Emergency Repair - 140 Lake Morton Drive

The City of Lakeland Wastewater Division is working on a sanitary sewer emergency repair on the Southside of Lake Morton at 140 Lake Morton Drive between South Boulevard and Orange Park Avenue.  The impacted area of Lake Morton Drive will be closed so crews can dig down to the broken sewer pipe.  Much of the sewer system in the Lake Morton area is older clay pipe.  At this point, crews do not have an estimate of how long the repair will take.  Detours with signage will be in place directing vehicle traffic around the construction area.
