NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT(S) AGAINST PROPERTY FOR REMOVAL OF DILAPIDATED AND HAZARDOUS BUILDINGS
Notice is hereby given that assessment(s) have been entered against the following lot(s) and parcel(s) of land in the City of Lakeland, Florida, as provided by Chapter 86 of the Code of the City of Lakeland, Florida, said assessment(s) being payable within 30 days, with interest at the rate of 8 percent per annum as hereinafter specifically set forth.
TO PROPERTY OWNERS INTERESTED IN THE FOREGOING ASSESSMENT(S):
"You and each of you are hereby notified that the Equalization Board will sit at the City Commission Chambers in the City of Lakeland, Florida at 9:00 a.m. on 09/16/24, for the purpose of hearing complaints with reference to assessments and each of them, and at such time, said assessments(s) will be adjusted and equalized, approved and finally confirmed by the City Commission of the City of Lakeland, Florida."
"Anyone deciding to appeal a decision on the above subject matter at this hearing will need a record of the proceedings and, for purposes of that appeal, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
