City News Blog: Avelo Airlines Announces Expanded Passenger Service at LAL
Beginning October 24, 2024, Avelo will expand at LAL with seven, new nonstop routes including San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), Atlanta (ATL), Boston / Manchester, N.H. (MHT), Charlotte / Concord (USA),Hartford, Conn. (BDL), Philadelphia / Wilmington, Del. (ILG) and Rochester, N.Y. (ROC). With the addition of these seven new routes, Avelo will serve eight nonstop destinations from LAL. These new destinations join Avelo’s current nonstop service to Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service to these eight popular destinations.
LAL will serve as Avelo’s Central Florida base, operating dual operations at LAL as an extension of its existing operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Avelo will initially base one aircraft at LAL. This expansion enables Avelo to significantly expand its affordable, convenient and reliable air service in Central Florida.
