LAKELAND, FL (February 15, 2024) | The City of Lakeland is hosting the Central Florida Business Expo on April 24, 2024, at the RP Funding Center, located at 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland, Florida. The event will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and aims to connect business leaders and professionals from across the region. It serves as an opportunity for companies of all sizes to showcase their products and services, meet with potential customers, and establish connections within the community.
A highlight of the Expo is a keynote by Donald Miller, a New York Times Best Selling Author and CEO of StoryBrand. Miller has written 10 books on topics like marketing and business growth, including Building a StoryBrand, Business Made Simple and How to Grow Your Small Business. He is known in the business community for his engaging speaking style and ability to communicate complex marketing principles in a simple, accessible manner. His presentation is expected to offer valuable insights and inspiration to business leaders in attendance.
The Expo will also include an exhibit hall where businesses can directly interact with attendees, display their offerings, and network with other companies. This setting within the Expo will provide a valuable platform for making business-to-business (B2B) connections, especially with businesses in Central Florida. Additionally, there will be breakout sessions and other networking events designed to facilitate learning and collaboration among participants ranging from business owners, nonprofit professionals, and corporate leaders.
This event, the first of its kind in Polk County, is an opportunity for businesses along the I-4 Corridor looking to increase their visibility, learn from leading industry experts, and connect with potential customers and partners in the Central Florida area.
