Legal Notice: Public Hearing on compensation of members of the Lakeland City Commission
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing on compensation of members of the Lakeland City Commission will be held during the public hearing on the City’s proposed 2023-2024 Fiscal year budget, which commences at 6:00 p.m. on September 20, 2024, in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, Lakeland, Florida.
INTERESTED PERSONS may appear and be heard at the hearing. Anyone deciding to appeal a decision by the City Commission on the above subject matter at this hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for purposes of that appeal, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
PLEASE BE ADVISED in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statute, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in this proceeding, or those requiring language assistance (free of charge) should contact the City of Lakeland ADA Specialist.
