Public Notice: Five Points Roundabout to Reopen April 29, 2024


LAKELAND, FL (April 26, 2024) | The City of Lakeland is pleased to announce that the Five Points Roundabout project has been successfully completed 94 days ahead of schedule and will reopen to the public on Monday, April 29, 2024. The intersection at West Main Street, West Lemon Street and Sloan Avenue was temporarily closed while the signalized intersection was converted to a modern single lane roundabout. The new roundabout aims to enhance traffic flow, improve safety, and serve as a gateway feature to the Downtown West area.
