Public Notice: Sanitary Sewer repair Will Impact Portion of 10th Street

WHAT:             Sanitary sewer repair

WHEN:             Project will start Friday, October 27, 2023

WHERE:           10th Street, east of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue

WHY:               Repair of sanitary sewer line

 

LAKELAND, FL (October 25, 2023) | The City of Lakeland Wastewater Collection Division will oversee an emergency repair to address a broken sewer main beneath 10th Street, just east of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.  The contractor, Kamminga & Roodvoets will make this repair starting Friday, October 27, 2023.  Repair crews will start the project after 8 a.m. to least impact the morning car and bus lines at Rochelle School of the Arts.  It is anticipated that sanitary sewer work will continue through the weekend with pavement repair taking place on Monday, October 30, 2023.  The turn lane from west bound 10th Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue will be closed for the duration of the project.  Through traffic on 10th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue will be able to pass the work area. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the repair work to least impact vehicular traffic.
