Public Notice: Portion of Clark Road Closed For Sanitary Sewer Repair

LAKELAND, FL (July 24, 2023) | The City of Lakeland Wastewater Division encountered a broken 14-inch sewer force main on the east side of Clark Road, between Old Tampa Highway and US92 (New Tampa Highway).  Crews are onsite and will work continuously until the repair is complete. The break in the force sewer main is about 10-foot deep, causing an additional hardship in mitigating the repair.  Vac Trucks are in place to contain sewage while the repairs are being completed. The northbound lane on Clark Road between Old Tampa Highway and US92 will be closed to all traffic as work crews stabilize the area and make the necessary repairs.  Traffic control and detour signage is in place to least impact vehicular traffic during the necessary repairs.
