Public Notice: Portion Of Lake Hollingsworth Drive Will Close Between Cleveland Heights Blvd And Crystal Lakeland Drive For An Emergency Sewer Repair

LAKELAND, FL (January 17, 2023) - Starting Tuesday, January 17th, at 10 a.m. the City of Lakeland Water Department will be closing the vicinity of Lake Hollingsworth Drive and Hollingsworth Oaks Drive for an emergency sewer repair to fix a broken sewer line.

In order to complete this repair, Lake Hollingsworth Drive will be closed to through traffic between Cleveland Heights Blvd and Crystal Lake Drive. A detour route will be set up, routing traffic along Crystal Lake Drive, New Jersey Road, Edgewater Drive, and Cleveland Heights Blvd. There will be a complete closure in the vicinity of 315 Lake Hollingsworth Drive.

Once the traffic control/detour signage setup is in place, we anticipate beginning working on the repair. An update will be provided to the public once crews start the work and can better give an estimate for the duration of the project.
