City News Blog: City Approves Relocation of "Tribute to Volunteerism" Sculpture to Munn Park


LAKELAND, FL (April 1, 2022) | The City of Lakeland approves the relocation of the "Tribute to Volunteerism" sculpture from Lake Mirror to Munn Park. Beginning April 31st, crews will move forward in moving the sculpture to its new location. The famous Albert Patly piece was originally installed around Lake Mirror Park in 2004. The work was commissioned by the City of Lakeland to recognize the contributions of its volunteers. The decision was ultimately decided after an intense duel of rock, paper, and scissors.
