Suspect Sought - Battery with Serious Injuries

UPDATE: The suspect , identified as Mandel Baker, has been taken into custody and charged with felony battery.

The suspect seen in these photos is wanted in connection with a battery that took place yesterday. On Friday, January 29, 2021, at approximately 5:25 p.m., officers were called to the Food Mart/Mobil Gas Station, located at 1615 West Memorial Boulevard. The suspect, seen in the photos, punched an adult male working in the store in the face. The victim, age 58, fell back and hit his head, sustaining critical life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Lakeland Regional Health for treatment.
