LAKELAND, FL (January 21, 2020) |  The City of Lakeland will be conducting a survey designed for citizens to share their views on quality of life issues and services. The online survey can be accessed by visiting LKLDview.com. It will be live starting January 27^th and run through February 28^th. 

LAKELAND, FL (January 17, 2020) | The Heritage Parking Garage is now planning to be open in the first week of February. The garage located at 227 South Kentucky Avenue was originally slated to open the third week of January but the project has experienced typical construction delays that impacted the opening date. The contractor now estimates the garage will open during the first week of February as workers complete the final interior finishes of the project. Once completed, there will be 49 regular spaces and 10 ADA accessible spaces on the first floor of the garage available to the general public during normal business hours as pay to park spaces. These spaces are free after business hours and on weekends.

LAKELAND, FL (January 16, 2020) | The Agenda at a Glance includes highlights for the upcoming January 21^st City Commission Meeting Agenda.  The full agenda and backup materials are available to view and download on our Agendas page. The Lakeland City Commission will discuss agenda items in detail at the Agenda Study session on Friday, January 17^th starting at 8:30 a.m.  The public can watch Agenda Study Sessions, City Commission Meetings as well as Committee Meetings live on Spectrum 643, FiOS 43 and streamed on LakelandGov TV.

LAKELAND, FL (January 7, 2019) | The Lakeland Midtown Arts & Culture Organization and the Education & Enlightenment Group will be hosting a number of events honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and MLK Day.  These events include a jazz concert taking place the evening of Friday, January 17^th, the MLK Parade on Saturday, January 18^th and the MLK Oratorical Contest on January 23^rd.
