LAKELAND, FL (September 23, 2021) - The pedestrian bridge in Peterson Park, connecting the southern portion of Three Parks Trail to New Jersey Road, will be closed starting Monday, September 27^th for maintenance and repairs. The project is expected to take one week to complete. 

LAKELAND, FL (September 23, 2021) | The Polk County Division of Roads & Drainage will start a project on Wednesday, September 29^th that will close Ariana Street between South Grady Avenue and Faye Avenue for approximately 45 days to allow construction of a 200’ retaining wall on the north side of Ariana Street.

City of Lakeland Commissioner Phillip Walker was elected President of the Florida League of Cities. He was elected by FLC membership and will serve a one-year term.
