Join the Parks & Rec team at Lakeland’s only FLOATING Pumpkin Patch! 🎃💦 We’re talking about the Great Pumpkin Splash at Gandy Pool on October 25th. There is limited space, so sign up today for your spot.

It’s not all Jack-O-Lanterns, though! We’ll have candy, games, and water safety tips too. Costumes are encouraged, but remember to bring those bathing suits so your little ghouls and goblins can hop in and get their own pumpkin from the floating patch 🤩.

  🍁Don’t forget those bathing suits! Wizards and robots on the deck - only bathing attire allowed in the pool to retrieve pumpkins! (Splash tip: dress as Michael Phelps or Katie Ledecky and they have costume and bathing suit covered!)

  🍁 Children do not need to know how to swim to participate. Check in with the staff to get a life jacket. As always, adult supervision for all swimmers is recommended. Also, ask our team about swim lessons and water safety classes.

• Event Parking Options

  There is a parking lot directly in front of the Gandy Pool entrance. Additional parking* is located on the opposite side of the tennis & pickleball courts west of the facilities. 

  

  *Additional parking note: There is a breezeway from the additional parking lot between the courts and the recreation center, which provides a short walk to the pool facility.
