Clothing, Blankets & Fabric
Clothing, blankets and fabric should never be placed in your blue recycling cart.

These items can be donated to local charities or to designated clothing donation programs.

Two reasons NOT to include clothing in recycling:

1. Just like plastic bags, clothing gets tangled in recycling sorting equipment.

2. Like Styrofoam™, we do not have a place to recycle clothing in the blue cart program. However, there are other alternatives for this material, like donation.
