Rep. Scott Franklin (FL-18) will host the second annual Vet Fest Saturday, November
16th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Vet Fest is a community event to inform veterans of available resources and provide
on-site support from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other veterans service organizations
(VSO). The event will include toxic exposure screenings, women's health services and mental health support.
Veteran attendees can also receive assistance with healthcare enrollment, employment assistance, housing
counseling and transportation services.
The event will include representatives from James A. Haley VA Hospital who will be on hand to provide their
support and services. Parking and admission are free. No advance registration or sign-up is required. Members of
the press are welcome to promote in advance and attend the event.
