The Lakeland CROP Hunger Walk is outreach and event sponsored by Church World Service, who hosts over a thousand walks each year in the US, raising $7 million annually. Its purpose is to raise funds and awareness of the need for relief of hungry, thirsty, displaced, shelterless, and other needy people in our community and the greater world. The beneficiaries are Talbot House, Lighthouse Ministries, and Church World Service’s world-wide relief organization.
