One Heart Community Faith Rally Will Take Place in Munn Park

Downtown Lakeland on Thursday, June 11th

LAKELAND, FL (June 8, 2020) – Munn Park in downtown Lakeland will be the destination for the One Heart Community Faith Rally on Thursday, June 11th starting at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be a multiracial, nonpartisan, city-wide event focused on prayer, justice and healing for our community and our nation.  The One Heart Community Faith Rally will have a number of pastors from various denominations speak as well as Congressman Ross Spano who will address those in attendance.

Commissioner Phillip Walker said, “We had a very successful peaceful protest march on Sunday that brought a very diverse crowd together as a unified voice for change. The One Heart Community Faith Rally will continue on that theme as we address inequality and inclusion going forward.”

The event will take place in Munn Park (210 East Main Street) in downtown Lakeland from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. For more information on the event, please contact Heather Nance at 863.688.5053.
