Lakeland’s Office of Real Estate and Property Information plays an important role connecting new projects with the Building Inspection Division through the verification and creation of new property addresses. Working with developers, civil engineers, attorneys and real estate professionals, this office is also responsible for the vacation of public rights-of-way as well as the vacation of public utility and drainage easements located within the Lakeland Electric service territory. Additionally, this office oversees all aspects the disposition of City of Lakeland owned surplus property.
