We will reopen on Monday, May 11th at 9 am.

Children's Theater
Children's Theater at the Lakeland Public Library is an interactive storytime that lets kids become the stars! Join us on Saturday, May 9th at 2 PM to be part of the fun. Suggest themes, perform on stage, or just sit back and watch the show. Designed for children ages 4 and up.No registration required. -
Open Mic Night
Calling all performers! Come share your talents and let your passion shine on Tuesday, May 12th at 5:30 PM in the Lakeland Public Library Meeting Room. Whether you play an instrument, recite poetry, do stand-up comedy, or just want come listen and support your community, open mic night is for you.
Registration is required to guarantee a performance slot and opens on Tuesday, May 5th at 5:30 PM. This event is for ages 18+. Guidelines for performers are noted at registration.

Preschool Storytimes at Lakeland Libraries
All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes, and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.
