We've got sewing machine basics, where can we go? Join us on Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 am at the Larry R. Jackson Branch Library for projects to sew!
Older kids and teens ages 9-17 with sewing machine experience are invited to join us for a free one-hour class. Sewing Saturday is limited to eight (8) participants and registration is required.

Get comfortable and learn different painting techniques with Kelly from Take It Personally Art in our three-class painting series at the Lakeland Public Library. Discover a new technique each Saturday and awaken the artist within you. All supplies will be provided. This event is for ages 18+.

Grab your sweetheart and head over to the Lakeland Public Library on Sunday, February 2nd from 2 PM to 4 PM for a Valentine’s Day photo opportunity with a professional photographer! Couples and families who register will receive two stunning 8x10 digital photos sent via email before the special day. Don’t miss out on the romance!
Registration is required and will open on Sunday, January 26th at 2 PM.
Please note: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. This is a family-friendly photoshoot. No pets will be allowed.

All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.
