Administrative Assistant -- Jami is an Administrative Assistant and serves as Secretary to Director of Workforce Development and Labor Relations. She also administers the Sick Leave Pool enrollments, Educational Reimbursement Program, Human Resources departmental accounts payable duties and performs Administrative/Clerical, PeopleSoft Data entry. Her duties also include the City of Lakeland HR/Employee Relations Website and Intranet Updates. Jami has worked for the City since 1998.

HR Assistant - Veronica is our new HR Assistant. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Potsdam, Germany. Currently she is working on a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Veronica joined the Human Resources Department in June 2008. Veronica has a variety of responsibilities, such as assisting with the “Pay for Performance” process, policy administration and Labor/Union Relations. When she is not working or attending graduate courses she enjoys her precious family time with her husband and toddler son.
HR Generalist -- Vickie is an HR Generalist who handles a variety of tasks consisting of, Unemployment Compensation, Salary Surveys, Suggestion Awards, Developing Crystal Reports, GED program, Administer sick leave pool committee, and also shares the responsibility of interpreting policy and counseling employees and managers on Human Resource Issues. Vickie is also a certified EEO investigator. Vickie graduated from Webster University with a Master's Degree in Human Resource Development. Vickie has worked for the City since 1981 and is a Lakeland native.
